The Sailboat Quilt is based on the half square triangle method.

This is a very easy quilt to make, the fabrics already prepared in a roll. These instructions are for a quilt of 240 blocks but you can change the number of blocks to suit you own dimensions. A &frac14in seam allowance is used.

You can even make an assorted kinchaku bag with the leftovers.

1 light blue azuminomomen for the border.
