Nanairo Enshu Tsumugi by Nukumori cotton
Enshu cotton pongee is a traditional cotton fabric that has been around since the Edo period.
As Japan industrialized, Nukumori was one of the first to introduce automatic looms, and continue to weave with shuttle looms that are no longer in production.
Craftsmen carefully adjust and create according to the temperature and humidity that change depending on the season.
The more you use it, the softer it becomes, and it features beautiful Japanese colors and patterns.
Nanairo Tsumugi is a textured and expressive fabric with a total of 7 colors, 6 vertical and 1 horizontal.
Width of fabric is approximately 40cm
Notes: The fabric has been washed with water, but there can be some shrinkage upon washing.
When ironing, please use a pressing cloth.
If you purchase the same fabric at different times, there may be individual differences due to the yarn and dyeing.
*Due to the nature of the thread, there may be loops on one side of the fabric, so use the side without loops as the front.
We try to match the colors of the actual product, but the color of the product image and the actual product may differ depending on the viewing environment.
