Create your own hitomezashi pattern with the dot grid

Draw your pattern between the dots then, following the lines on the muslin, your sashiko stitches will define the image.

The cloth is then washed to reveal the design clear of the stencilled lines. These samplers can be used as features on bags or cushions or simply used as napkins at the dining table.  

The diagrams and images used are very easy to follow and all the descriptions in Japanese are fully translated into English.
