La Bouquetière is an exciting series of Sashiko Sampler project combining several techniques

Following the stencilled lines on the muslin, your sashiko stitches will define the image. You will find Bouquetière samplers are very pleasant to stitch as they combine sashiko with hitomezashi and kugurisashi all in one. The cloth is then washed to reveal the design clear of the stencilled lines. These samplers can be used as features on bags or cushions or simply used as napkins at the dining table.  

The diagrams and images used are very easy to follow and all the descriptions in Japanese are fully translated into English. 

Contains: Sashiko cloth (100% cotton), 5 skeins of sashiko thread (100% cotton), sashiko needle and instructions.
