Le Palais Sucré with Martine APAOLAZA 2-day course March 20 & 21

You will become familiar with hand appliqué and reverse appliqué (window and door openings that give perspective) you will learn how to build your project and how to embellish and detail with simple embroidery and suggest some details.

Martine will also teach you how to insert a blind or curtains etc ... all these steps are very creative, fun to do, plus this project is very joyful!

At the end of the 2 days of training, you will still have a little work but everything will have been studied and your project will be very advanced. With this training you will then be able to launch yourself into your own projects.

For this course there will be no kit offered which will allow you to personalize it, you will then have a list of specific materials, and a list of fabrics and threads to bring. You will be able to use scraps of Japanese fabric to personalize your project.

To follow this course you must have some basics or notions of patchwork and sewing, embroidery is basic stitches.

To book your workshop, you must confirm that you have read the terms of service.

Depending on what participants want to do with the project, complementary backing fabrics are also available in the shop. Participants are asked to bring their own basic sewing materials, including embroidery threads, needles and scissors. Once your workshop is booked, all you need to do is let us know your name on the day of the workshop.

The Doubs and Jura region is rich in cultural interest and natural beauty. If you are a visitor, this would be a great opportunity to explore the area, including the ancient city of Besançon and the salt spas of Salins les Bains.
